Working out can be tough at the best of times: think setting that 6am alarm to make it to your morning spin class. But you know what’s even more difficult? Shopping for sports bras in Singapore, for bigger boobs.
The last thing any of us with D+ bra sized busts want is extra bounce whilst we’re running along the river, or to feel like we’re falling out of our bra mid-yoga class. It’s so important for larger busted women to find a sports bra that makes us feel confident, in control and stylish whilst working out (or grabbing brunch, who’s judging?).
Today, bra sizes are still based on Victorian measurements for corsets, and there’s stacks of research to suggest that many of us are not wearing the right sized bras. Sports bras are no different. A well-fitted one is essential for minimising breast movement during exercise, ensuring comfort and elevating performance, and preventing sagginess in the future. Your sports bra should fit snugly around your breast with no overflow or gaping.
But while there are seemingly endless options for A-C cups, finding bras that properly fit D cups and above (and are actually stylish) are much harder to come by.
We tried out a bunch of larger cup sports bras in Singapore, and these are our top picks for bigger bust.

Underarmour Women's UA Infinity High Sports Bra | SGD 89
The Underarmour team had a total brainwave and inserted the padding in this sports bra in a figure eight shape, making it so much more comfortable for bigger bust as the bra fits like a glove, without squishing your boobs and making you feel constrained. The adjustable crisscross straps of this dusty pink sports bra keep it feeling quite modern, whilst also helping to add extra support with no risk of shoulder indentations.

Athleta Embrace Bra D-DD | USD 54
This is one of the only ‘pretty’ sports bras we’ve found that doesn’t compromise on support. Whilst it’s lower cut than our other picks, the thicker under-band makes you feel protected and the adjustable straps can be connected for additional lift. The thinner straps on the Embrace Bra make it feel more elegant and less restrictive, which is why it’s a winner for hot yoga classes.
