PERSONAL TRAINING THE UFIT WAY

At UFIT there are no pre-set programmes, no cookie cutter templates. We take the time to understand your goals, and also to thoroughly assess where you are in terms of your cardiovascular health, your body composition, your fitness and your mobility. From there we create an individualised program for you, designed to achieve your goals, curated to meet your needs, and adjusted to meet you at your fitness level.

We’re often asked how often you should see your PT. The answer really boils down to how quickly you want to see and feel real changes in your health and fitness. Many members of the UFIT community see their PTs three or four times a week. There’s no doubt that the more frequent you see your PT, the easier it is to stay on track with your goals, but we also understand that many people don’t have the time or the budget to commit to such an extent. If you are looking to do one or two PT sessions a week, we highly recommend you supplement your sessions with UFIT Outdoor or Indoor classes to make sure you keep traction on your pursuit of your goals!

NUTRITION AND PHYSIO SUPPORT ALONG THE WAY 

The integration of our nutritionist and physio teams with our personal trainers allow us to offer a truly holistic approach, which gives us a much greater impact on your health and fitness, and so much more support in the pursuit of your goals. All our new clients get access to our nutrition team at the outset of their journey to help them instil the right behaviours and habits, and our physio team are always on hand to help if there are any movement or mobility issues, or support needed in terms of recovery.

MATCHING YOU WITH THE RIGHT PT  

We allocate our PT’s based on a number of different factors, with the end-goal of getting the best match for you:

1)    Your Goals

Many of our PTs have specialties and qualifications in certain areas, so if you have a specific goal, it makes sense to match you with a PT with a proven track record in that space.

2)    Your Preference

Many of our new clients have a preference over whether you prefer a male or female PT, and of course we will accommodate this.

3)    Your Timings

Depending on what days and times you would prefer to train, there may only be a limited choice of which PTs are available. Obviously the more flexible you can be with timings, the more choice you will have from within the team.

4)    Personality-Fit

It’s important that you gel with your PT, and so we do our best to recommend a coach that we think you will get on with. Our managers have years and years of experience within the industry, and so they have a good eye for who would be a good match for you and your training needs.

Of course, if you’ve heard good things about a member of our team, or have seen someone you like on our website, we’ll do our best to match you directly with them!

SUPPORTING CLIENTS WITH SLASHING THEIR HEALTH GOALS!

Last year, one of our clients, Michelle, tore her left glute and started working with one of our Physios, Jade for her rehab. Through her rehab journey, Michelle was able to understand her body better and gained valuable insights on the proper steps to exercising and recovering. She then started training with Dylan three times a week to help build strength, overcome her injury and build confidence. Now, Michelle continues to work closely with her team to achieve her main goal – pulling the weight of a car with the push sled!
