Every year makeup trends emerge and our mascara-wearing eyes see another shimmering year. 2022 takes a less is more approach which we truly love, embracing what you have naturally while enhancing your natural features - your skin but better. With COVID-19 restrictions mandating wearing masks that cover half of our faces, it's safe to say that our Valentine’s Day makeup looks will be totally mask-friendly.

We speak to professional makeup artist Albert Kurniawan about how to wear a chic, romantic makeup look just in time for your Valentine’s Day date. Show your facial features some love or highlight different areas of the face with a dust of shimmer.

For your mesmerising peepers

Using the Téviant Glow to Glass (Florid) palette (SGD 31.80) apply the highlighter all over the under-eye area to create a soft natural glow to the skin and brighten the eye-bags area.

Teviant Brow Mate

Then use the Téviant Brow Mate (in the shade : Medium Brown) (SGD 22) and create soft hair-like strokes to fill in the brows before brushing it to make it softer.

Pro-tip: Before sculpting your brows, comb your brows upwards to create gaps in between hairs, making it easier to identify which parts of the brows to fill in.

Téviant Mon Cheri Mascara, (SGD 28.90)

Use the Téviant Eyebrow Tint (in the shade : Her) (SGD 19.50) to create a fuller brow while maintaining the natural look as the unique 4-point brush tip helps to mimic hair strokes and produce a 3D microblade look. Complete the look with the Téviant Mon Cheri Mascara, (SGD 28.90) and Téviant Liquid Eyeliner (Sienna), (SGD 22.90) and extend the winged line beyond the outer corner of your eyes.

For your stunning face

TéviantBlush to Flush

With the covet apricot pink with gold undertone and rosy tones from Téviant Blush to Flush (Anemone) palette (SGD 38.90) gently apply the blusher above the cheekbone and across the top right of your face.

Pro-tip: By doing so, not only does it become visible with the mask on but also, draws emphasis to the eyes.

Téviant Glow to Glass Resin (SGD 38.90)

Next, pickup Resin (SGD 38.90) the gorgeous pearlescent soft gold shade from the Téviant Glow to Glass palette series and gently tap it all over the eyelid to create a natural but warm ivory shimmer effect.

For date-ready clean beauty looks, Téviant is available on Shopee and Lazada.
