Clean beauty has been on the rise in recent years and not without good reason. A term that refers to non-toxic beauty products that take human and the environment’s health into consideration, clean beauty advocates for more conscious consumption and avoids ingredients that really do more harm than good. However, though many might be eager to make the switch to better products, the lack of knowledge surrounding what’s really clean and what’s not, creates a frustrating barrier to successfully implementing the switch. Thankfully, more and more online beauty platforms which are committed to demystifying beauty choices have begun to emerge. We’ve rounded up a few of our favourites to help you transit easily to a cleaner and better beauty experience.

Kinder Beauty

Co-founders Daniella Monet and Evanna Lynch created Kinder Beauty believing that, firstly, ethical beauty should be easy and, secondly, animals and makeup were two things they loved but never wanted to see mixed. An online store that offers haircare, skincare, and makeup products, Kinder Beauty makes sure that every product they put up has gone through a strict vetting process. Besides only selling vegan and cruelty-friendly items, they also try their best to work with brands that use eco-friendly packaging. Beyond that, they make monthly contributions to animal rights and environmental causes, such as Los Angeles County Animal Care Foundation and Compassion Over Killing! If you hate agonising over shopping decisions and wish someone would just pick out the right products for you, a Kinder Beauty subscription might solve your problem. Offered in monthly, 3-month prepaid, and 6-month prepaid packages, a subscription will allow you to receive a Kinder Beauty Box each month. Each box contains a range of products, handpicked by the staff at Kinder Beauty, that are meant to elevate your beauty experience.
